Introduced at the SIHH 2017, the MAESTRO is probably the most modern & well balanced CHRISTOPHE CLARET timepiece up to date.

Its aesthetic is Stunning ! The case plays a major role offering a lot of transparency and light over the front face of the piece. The combination of Red Gold, Black and Red works perfectly with the nice balance wheel placed next to the main
« surprise » :  A Cone-Shaped Date.

Made of aluminum and patented, the idea is brilliant.
The cone has two components, the top one showing the first date number and the bottom with the second number. A side pushing button is available at 4 o’clock to set it quickly. The ruby on top of the cone is a decoration and not linked to the mechanism (caliber DMC16), design-wise it fits the overall concept and could be replaced by another precious stone like a diamond.

The little cone with the Memo function follows the same principle. Linked to a pushing button at 2 o’clock, the idea is to remember that something must be done if the word « Memo » is visible on the dial. Each night the « Memo » will return to its initial position thanks to a semi-instantaneous jumping system.
Adding some Fun, the brand is showing a different application of Mr. CLARET invention.

At 12 o’clock a two series-coupled barrels are offering 7 days of power reserve and thanks to the aperture you can see a sort of « natural » and approximative power reserve indication.
