1966 SKELETON

A SKELETON MOVEMENT REPRESENTING A PIECE OF HISTORY !

When you love mechanical watches, you often go to skeleton timepieces. With the 1966 Skeleton, GIRARD - PERREGAUX introduced a wonderful creation!
The standards are very high and the finishing remains amazing. Many hand operations are required to reach such quality and we appreciate the fact that they choose an automatic movement because usually skeleton watches are manual.

Even with a pink gold case, the piece is very light and fine (only 9.27mm of thickness).
We love the design of all components and the location of the second hand, at 10 o’clock.

The regulating organ is moving quite fast with a frequency of 4 Hz and the single open barrel brings a plus visually.

The number 1791 is related to the roots of GIRARD - PERREGAUX. More specifically, to the watchmaker Jean-François Bautte who created the company in 1791.

If you want a light & Fine high-end timepiece with an Automatic skeleton movement, we definitely recommend it!
