FROM THE BARREL TO THE FLYING TOURBILLON !

Introduced at the SIHH 2018, the Laureato Flying Tourbillon Skeleton is a true « Beauty »

I really like its skeleton calibre, in particular the Flying Tourbillon at 11 o’clock. Some interesting details are present on the piece such as the open barrel at 5 o’clock that let you appreciate the mainspring. A nice plus visually! and pretty useful because you can guess an approximate « Power reserve indication » looking at it. By that, i’m not saying that you’ll read an approximate countdown but the need for the timepiece to be winded or not.

The overall structure of the calibre GP09520-0001 is well designed with pleasant proportions and balanced elements. I also like the fact that the two (open) circles of the front face represents the beginning and end of a mechanical movement : From the Barrel to the Regulating organ Both have a nice finishing, especially the Flying Tourbillon and our pictures above shows it pretty well.

The Laureato Flying Tourbillon is a heavy wristwatch because its case and each component of the bracelet is in full Pink Gold! (not just a layer on their surface).
So, if you like to feel your watch on the wrist + Pink Gold + Tourbillons… This one is for you!
