Entirely developed at the GREUBEL FORSEY ATELIER (Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland), the timepiece expresses (once again) amazing know-hows.

In my opinion, the « BALANCIER » highlights the brand’s signature design-wise. Don’t get me wrong, i’m not saying that previous GREUBEL FORSEY timepieces aren’t recognizable or don’t have a signature… it’s the opposite! What i’m saying is that the « Balancier » shows the Manufacture craftsmanship and technicalities with the « basics » of a mechanical timepiece
(Hour, minutes, seconds, balance wheel).
The bonus would be the power reserve indication, always useful when you have a hand-wound movement.

The « Balancier » at 8 o’clock is an in-house development with its own shape and six gold mean-time screws. The regulating organ is very accurate and its construction leaves enough space to appreciate the escapement and the breathtaking hand-finishing on its bridge.

The engravings (on the back) presents the principles of GREUBEL FORSEY and when you know that all parts are hand decorated, i felt once again honored to review what i consider to be the Pinnacle of the Swiss Mechanical Watchmaking.

Congratulations! GREUBEL FORSEY.
