REST IN PEACE MR. ANDY RIHS

It is with great sadness TAG Heuer learnt of the passing of Andy Rihs, BMC Racing owner, and Jean-Claude Biver’s longtime friend.

It was a friendship of 15 years, full of beautiful projects, such as the first All Black Full Carbon bike by Hublot, presented in 2009, and then the announcement of TAG Heuer as Official Timekeeper of the cycling team BMC Racing in 2016.

Jean-Claude Biver : “Generous, courageous, passionate, agile, creative and inventive. Andy was for me the perfect example of entrepreneurship. Along the years, he became a close friend, and from this friendship, our bike partnership was born. Starting with Hublot when we collaborated to create the revolutionary All Black and Full Carbons Bikes, and then TAG Heuer became partner of the BMC Racing Team. Today, Switzerland loses one of its most talented entrepreneur of the 20th century, but we also say goodbye to a close friend. My thoughts are going to his family, friends, and all the people affected by his loss.”

Jean-Claude Biver, TAG Heuer and the LVMH Watch Group Division extend their sincere condolences to Andy’s family and friends at these difficult times.
