A MILITARY GREEN DIAL ON 3 PANERAI REFERENCES!

PANERAI just launched a special « Boutique edition » on three of their references: The Radiomir 1940 3 days Acciaio / The Radiomir 8 days Titanio and this one, The Luminor 1950 Chrono Monopulsante 8 days GMT Titanio.

With a dark « Military » green dial, beige hour markers and natural brown leather strap, the piece is Wonderful! Vintage, Classic, Elegant are few words popping out of my mind. The combination of all colours and the titanium case works perfectly. In fact, i rarely saw such high quality in terms of case manufacturing. We are reaching the point that only the weight makes you know that you’re in presence of a titanium case because visually, you can’t recognise if it’s steel or titanium.

100% in-house, the calibre P.2004 is very nice! There is a GMT hand (or arrow) with an AM/PM indication at 9 o’clock. Above it is the small seconds hand and at 3 o’clock the chronograph counter.
Here you also have a monopusher chronograph. It simply means that all actions (start, stop, reset) are handled by one pusher at 8 o’clock.
Manual winding calibre, 8 days of power reserve are offered with a nice view on the P.2004 and its column wheel through the open back.

I love how PANERAI respects their tradition and integrates Modern touches on their timepieces.
Well done! PANERAI.
