ITS WEIGHT : 32 GRAMS !

Developed for the Olympic Gold medallist and world-record holder of the 300 and 400 meters Wayde Van Niekerk, the RM 67-02 is simply the best of the best in the Mechanical Sports Watch segment.

In disciplines like 200 - 400 meters or in general when athletes run, they are very sensitive to weights. Consequently, Richard Mille had to produce an extremely light timepiece resistant to sport purposes. A pretty difficult & interesting challenge that fits perfectly Mr. Mille’s brand and expertise.

With a weight of 32 grams, it’s clear that the materials used are quite special! The case is made of Quartz TPT, a familiar and well known material within the brand’s environnement. The skeletonized calibre CRMA7 contains a baseplate & bridges in titanium grade 5. The rotor is made of Carbon TPT (black & grey mix area) and White Gold. Being heavier, the White Gold part makes it (the rotor) move when you wear the piece.

The RM 67-02 SWVN is very colorful! I like how they integrated the South African flag and its shapes on the front.
For an athlete, it’s an honour to represent your country in an international competition and to wear such creation on your wrist must certainly feel like an extension of your suit.

Well done! RICHARD MILLE.
