SCHWARZ ETIENNE - TOURBILLON SMALL SECONDS RETROGRADE

A VISIBLE RETROGRADE SECONDS MECHANISM ON THE DIAL !

At Baselworld 2017, the independent brand SCHWARZ ETIENNE launched an Amazing creation : The TOURBILLON SMALL SECONDS RETROGRADE.

The timepiece is part of the collection « La Chaux-de-Fonds Tourbillon ». La Chaux-de-Fonds being one of the renown cities of the Watch Valley! and also where the manufacture is.

It’s a pure pleasure to look at the animation of the retrograde seconds (and the tourbillon) on the front side! It also shows the ingenuity of SCHWARZ ETIENNE’s engineers who develop/produce complicated components in order to mesure the time and please the collectors. The calibre TSEPSR122.00 is 100% in-house and integrates several modules.

The back engravings with its tricky « juxtaposed image » offer a nice visual effect ! as much as the location of the sapphire window behind the tourbillon. Here we’ve a modern novelty and its quality (in terms of finishing & decoration) is very well done.

We definitely think that the Watchmaking industry is or should go in this direction as the timepiece is mechanical, shows the complications (open dial) and is easily wearable.

Congratulations! SCHWARZ ETIENNE.
